Military Appreciation is a two day event weekend. The first Military Appreciation Weekend was a huge first time success in 2013 and so it makes it’s triumphant return to Stockton Arena on April 4 and 5!
This year’s Military Appreciation Weekend will include the moving tribute wall and a video honoring all the local fallen military personnel, the presentation of a large American Flag during the National Anthem and specialty camo jerseys.
For the first 3,500 fans that come to Friday, April 4′s game, you’ll have the opportunity to grab a really cool and unique Throwback WWII propaganda poster featuring a Thunder flair! As for fans that come on Saturday April 5, the first 1,500 fans 13 and over will receive a free Thunder military themed cap.
Through many generous donors over 500 tickets were donated to active or retired military personnel to enjoy one of the games.
